This is 100% regarding the IBEROSTAR CLUB MEMBERSHIP that EVERYONE should BE AWARE. It is very unfortunate that we have been ripped off $21,500 and IBEROSTAR is declining our request for a full refund. I have researched 43 other complaints of similar situations- false promises to save money on future trips, high pressure sales pitch, customers unable to verify deals and by then it is "too late to cancel". Considering the size of the company and their 16+ locations worldwide, they should do everything in their power to keep their reputation. Instead they not only rip customers off, but do nothing in good faith as a company to help the customer get their money back. I hope that their Executive Chairman Miguel Fluxà, Co-Executive Vice Chairman & CEO Sabina Fluxà and Gloria Fluxà, Vice Chairman & CEO America Jose Antonio González all pay SERIOUS ATTENTION to these matters and provide resolutions. Without customers and their loyalty THERE WILL BE NO IBEROSTAR. We have spend weeks upon weeks trying to resolve our cancellation dispute, only to be told they can not do anything and still have the decency to offer us other deals!!!This behavior is completely morally wrong!!! We will get our $21,500 back, no matter how long it takes. We will fight for our consumer rights and encourage everyone else that fell into this predicament to do the same. We will advise and WARN against their poor business practices and everyone who too lost their money should do the same!!!!!

Reason of review: terrible business practice.

Monetary Loss: $2150.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Iberostar Hotels and Resorts Cons: Hate the club, Lied and scammed us.

Our situation was resolved! Money was refunded 100% after multiple phone calls, an unfavorable review on Tripadvisor and an email to CEO of Iberostar. Please see prior post from 2015.

I just got back from vacation and my heart has dropp looking at all the bad review for the iberostar club members. I also join and was sold on the same ideas I pay $9,000 upfront and soon to be paying $560 dollars a month for 48 months.

they promise me a 20 year membership and a all my money back after the 20 year because this was not timeshare they say it was more like a investment. and that they use this to keep developing more iberostar clubs nd hotel so I was investing .y money I will even get a investment certification within 45 days .

but now I see they use any trick and every trick of the trade just lost all my saving am what read a good memory of my family vacation. if anybody know how I can't get out of this contract of has any information 9n what to do please email me at cabrejavictor@***.com

This doesn't say how long away this has happened to you but we have just notified the company today which is within the 5 day period trying to get our money back. Please let me know where everyone stands right now. Thanks

My family also was scammed by iberostar cancuns high pressure sales tactics and confusing contract language which needs lawyer level review to understand. We have spoken to several lawyers and trying to come up with a course of action.

For the amount invested, the benefit is minimal. Iberostar Club memberships are total garbage and we feel like chumps for signing up.

Thank you for your posting the Iberostar Club Membership Scam. We almost got in the membership, but one of my friend go with us on the trip, he did not want to joint was smart to look on the website and see all of your review, so we stop it right away. Thank again.

t's unfortunate that situationshe like these occur and initial response is not favorable.I cannot speak to your particular situation, however I would encourage you to fight your case.

If valid enough I am certain that management up the food chain will listen and assist with resolution. This was certainly true in our case. We were finally able to put this to rest after number of phone calls, emails, and finally contacted the CEO of the Iberostar chain.

As I'm not at liberty to distribute his email address, I can say you can find it fairly easy online.Best of luck to everyone with resolving your matters.

I feel your pain...

In Jan 2015 my wife and I also joined The Club based on what the salesperson told us only to find out most of it was a huge exaggeration or a complete lie. I have asked for a full refund, so far no luck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Our feeling is exactly the same as yours. We bought our in July 2015 for the same price as yours.
